Our area is only as tranquil and as quite as you would like it to be. The area around Pindari Holiday Farm has much to offer should you wish experience something new, something exiting or even something exhausting take a look at our suggestions.

Trout Fishing

This area can be regarded as a 'Fisherman's paradise' ! There are a number of places you can go to try your luck and skill at landing that elusive 'biggen'.

We suggest you check out the Natone Hills Fishery. The Fishery opens on the 1st of September through to the 30th of April.

There is no need for you to purchase a Fishing License as the lakes are on private property and are well stocked with good size Rainbow and Brown Trout.
Fishing gear is supplied and you may catch up to 4 fish each. Expert tuition is available and parties to the maximum of ten people can be catered for.

Cradle Mountain
National Park

Pindari Holiday Farm is an ideal place to use as your base camp for a visit to the world famous Cradle Mountain National Park. If it is a day trip to see the mountain or a day trip to discover one of hundreds of fantastic walking tracks, Pindari Holiday Farm can arrange for transport to and from or provide a healthy lunch for that big hike. Thylacine Expeditions

Thylacine Adventure Tours operate out of the nearby Burnie and will pick you up right here at Pindari Holiday Farm for any of their popular two to ten hour day or night tours.

On offer are over a dozen different adventure tours and amongst some of Tasmania's premier wildlife viewing tours you can participate in the following:

Dine with the Devil Tour
Watch the worlds largest marsupial carnivore feeding in their natural environment. Join the experienced guides for a bone crushing feeding frenzy wildlife tour. (4 - 5 Hours)

Join a Twilight Wildlife Tour and discover some of Tasmania's unique native animals up close and personal. The guides will get you as close as possible to Tassie's unique wildlife using low impact lighting enabling you to view Tasmania's wildlife in a nocturnal environment. ( 3 - 5 hours)

the Platypus and Penguin Tour would be for you !? View this bizarre Australian animal, the Platypus, in its natural environment. Again, the guides will get you up close to this extremely shy and elusive monotreme.
